„Mafasa: The King of the Lion“ causes Rafiki to convey the legend of Mufasa to the young Lion Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa, borrowing Schtick. Told in Flashback, the story presents Mafasa as an orphan chicken, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka-Mostener of a Royal Blood line. The chance session sets in motion an extended journey of an extraordinary group of inadvertencies that seek their destiny-obligations will be tested while working together to evade a threatening and deadly enemy.
